GOOSE

Growth Optimising Opportunities in the Supply of Energy (GOOSE) was a preparatory project supported by the Northern Peripheries Programme.

D2S was contracted by the partnership to draft the application and assist in carrying out the project. Partners were Udaras & WESTBIC (Ireland), University of Lulea (Sweden), Micropolis (Finland).

The project focused on the economic development results arising from developments in energy supply off Ireland, Greenland, Iceland. Faeroes & Barents Sea

The project developed three work packages:

· Supply chain building and enhancement

· Energy efficiency

· Environment and Location challenges

The project developed into a consortium led by Innovation Centre Iceland and also incorporated Narvik Science Park
